EXTRA WEIGHT FOR THE CHAIN

Ultra Anchor Ring premits shorter scope by reducing the chain length in cases of limited anchorage area and increses safety by adding weight to the anchoring system.

Designed to replace a chain or rope weight (Kellet). In case of anchoring with limited scope (busy anchorage or limited anchorage area), the Ultra Marine Anchor Ring increases safety by adding weight to the anchoring system. By adding extra weight on the chain, the Ultra Marine Anchor Ring reduces the vessel swing area and works as a shock absorber, improving comfort at anchor by reducing boat movement.

The Ultra Marine Anchor Ring will is also an important recovery tool. This is especially relevant in conditions where entering the water is not possible or preferable (such as cold water, rough sea conditions, or with dangerous wildlife around). We have now tried it out in mud, sand and coarse sand and it has worked extremely well every time.

With our last anchor we could not get it to set in sand - our biggest test - even with scopes of 10:1. The Ultra has set firmly and quickly every time with scopes of 3:1.

The anchor also self launches every time whereas we often had to give our last one a kick to get it moving.
